A MURDER took place on the corner of Old Vereeniging and Delphinium roads in Alrode on May 24.
According to Brackendowns SAPS, the deceased was identified as a security guard. It appears he was on his way to work when he was attacked and stabbed with a sharp object. He died on the scene.
Captain Foord of Brackendowns SAPS said the matter is still under investigation but no suspects have been identified.
