CPS Security arrests housebreaker in Randhart

The team responded to a house break-in in progress as received from their control room and apprehended the suspect after he tried to escape on foot.

CPS Security’s reaction unit arrested a housebreaker in Amfibool Street in Randhart on November 2.

The team responded to a house break-in in progress as received from their control room and apprehended the suspect after he tried to escape on foot. He was handed over to Alberton SAPS and is being detained there.

Thieves are targeting this area as there were two house break-ins in Amfibool and Jack Street on October 31 where the suspects got away. During the first house break-in on Amfibool Street, there was a silver Volkswagen with three to four males involved. In the second house break-in on Jack Street, there were four to five males involved driving a white Mazda Drifter single cab bakkie with no canopy. If spotted, contact CPS Security’s control room immediately. Report any form of crime to CPS Security on 011 024 2426 or to Alberton SAPS on 011 861 6800.
