Etienne will be missed

“Our sincerest condolences to his family, friends and many colleagues - Etienne specialised as an advocate in labour law.”

THE staff and friends of Stepping Stone Hospice had a sad start to their year as they paid their last respects to one of their longest-standing board members, Adv Etienne Cosyn, who died unexpectedly on December 29, 2018.

He died at the age of 48 while on holiday in Plettenberg Bay. Etienne is survived by his wife, Heleen, and two children, Carla en Micael.

“Etienne, in his quiet and unassuming ways, served as a valuable member on the hospice board en we will miss him, not just as a person, but also the input and support we received from him,” said Tersia Burger, CEO Stepping Stone Hospice.

“We also got to know him on a more personal level when we cared for his father in our in-patient unit.

“Our sincerest condolences to his family, friends and many colleagues – Etienne specialised as an advocate in labour law.”
