Armed robberies by ‘police officers’ in Walkerville area

Please beware of the bogus police.

WALKERVILLE – These robberies happen during the day as the robbers arrive at the premises dressed in police uniform, police vehicle and documents with the intent to ‘investigate’ a case.

Once they have entered the property they demand cash, jewellery, cell phones, etc.

In this instance the home owner’s youngest son was taken hostage, tied with cable ties and thrown out of a moving police vehicle.

These attacks are aimed at families staying on the farms and small holdings in the area and have been rocketing over the past two months.
