Road block success

Brackendowns SAPS held a successful road block recovering knives from many vehicles and ensuring road safety.

BRACKENDOWNS – On December 27 2013 all Cluster Duty Officers, Communication Officers and other members held a road block at the M7 road at Brackendowns SAPS area next to the cemetery.

More than 200 vehicles were searched. Colonel Arikum the Station Commander of Brackendowns SAPS was in charge of the road block.

Colonel Matlala and Lt Colonel Lepadima from Cluster Germiston and Primrose SAPS respectively visited the road block. Knives were recovered from some motorists who were searched and were confiscated.

The road block was a success and Colonel Matlala thanked everyone who participated that day.
