Hitzeroth murder trial postponed due to missing docket

According to the defence, this is the second time the docket has not been in court.

THE couple accused of the murder of Gert Hitzeroth appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on July 9.

The case was again postponed to July 23 and the prosecution had to ask for it because the docket was not in court or in possession of the prosecution.

The defence stated that the docket was not present in this court appearance or the previous appearance of the accused.

The magistrate, however, disallowed the statement that the docket was not there during the previous hearing due to the missing docket not being brought to the attention of the court on the day.
