EMPD cracked down on dealers in Katlehong as part of Operation Okae Molao

During the operation, the officers arrested four suspects in the Phooko Section of Katlehong and seized Cat and crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over R58 000.

The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit formed part of Operation O kae Molao, which was conducted on July 11 in Katlehong.

During the operation, the officers arrested four suspects in the Phooko Section of Katlehong and seized Cat and crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over R58 000.

The first suspect was arrested around 5am on Poole Street. A block of Cat valued at R28 000 was seized from the 31-year-old suspect.

The second suspect was arrested at the same location as the first.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the same address as the first arrest, a 39-year-old man was found in possession of 15 ziplock bags of Cat and nine ziplock bags of crystal meth with a value of R5 700. The suspect was arrested.

Two more suspects were arrested 45 minutes later. The two suspects, a man and a woman, aged 29 and 30 respectively, were arrested when Cat, valued at R25 000, was found at their residence.

The four suspects were detained at Katlehong North Police Station. They were each charged with possession and dealing in illicit substances.
