Defence in Spur murder trial still waiting for transcripts

The trial is set to commence again on October 1.

THE four accused of the murder of Bradley Du Preez appeared briefly in court on July 24.

The reason for the appearance was for the council of the accused to inform the court whether the transcripts of previous court dates have been given to them. One transcript is yet to be sent to the defence.

They will convene in court again on August 14 to confirm whether the transcript has been given to the defence.

The trial is set to commence again on October 1.
