Maimane preaches jobs in Alberton

Part of Mmusi Maimane's vision includes creating opportunities for entrepreneurs.

ALBERTON – On January 6, Premier candidate for the DA, Mmusi Maimane, visited Bracken Park Hall around 18:00 to discuss the vision of what Gauteng would look like if the DA were to be elected.

Among his top priorities he discussed jobs. Instead of creating millions of jobs, he believes in creating entrepreneurs; in other words, making it easy for people to start their own businesses instead of temporary employment, and getting rid of corruption in Gauteng.

He will be attending court on March 4 and 5 to address the e-toll situation. “We are not saying that we don’t want to pay for the infrastructure, but it is the manner in which we are expected to pay,” said Maimane.
