ADT nabs business burglars in the act

ADT spots criminal activity and acts quickly

AT around 03:50 on February 2 two suspects jumped over the palisade fence of premises in Fordicks Road, Germiston. The alarm was activated when they broke a window and the burglar bars to get into the building. They then stole various items of computer equipment.

Shortly afterwards ADT arrived and apprehended both suspects on the premises. The stolen items were recovered and the suspects handed over to the Alberton SAPS.

Clive Humphrey, Managing Director of ADT Central Region, applauded the officer for his prompt response to the alarm activation.

“This just emphasises the benefit of installing an alarm system and subscribing to the services of a reputable armed response service provider,” said a representative of ADT.
