Two suspects arrested for attempted break-in in Raceview

Alberton SAPS were contacted and a case was opened.

Two house robbers were arrested on February 20 in Lenin Street, in Raceview.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, CPS Security sales director, a homeowner spotted two unknown men jumping over his wall.

The suspects noticed that they were spotted and jumped back over and fled on foot.

A member of the public then saw the men running and assistance was requested over a WhatsApp group.

“Our reaction officers were dispatched which resulted in both suspects being arrested. Alberton SAPS were contacted and a case was opened,” Van der Merwe said.
