A burglar arrested in Alberton North

The suspect was busy stripping cabling.

A burglar was arrested by CPS Security on February 28 in 2nd Avenue in Alberton North.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, CPS sales director, they received a call from a member of the public who spotted an unknown male jumping over his neighbour’s wall.

“Our reaction officers were dispatched and found one suspect inside the premises busy stripping cabling,” he said.

The suspect was handed over to Alberton SAPS and a case was opened.
