On Sunday morning (May 18) I was at Meyersdal SPAR.
On exciting the complex I was attacked by a white male in a white Amaroc 4×4.
I was having problems with my vehicle and he was behind me. I was battling to start my car when he stopped next to me shouting and swearing at me. The woman with him also started swearing at me.
He then got out of his 4 x 4 and carried on swearing. He smashed the mirror of my car and kicked the door while he was calling me all sorts of horrible names and threatened to shoot me.
Seems like the banning of cigarettes is causing the people to go crazy and then they take it out on older people.
I am 60 years old and he is a white male in his late 30s.
I felt so humiliated by the man and was in such a state and would wonder if anybody saw the incident and can help with more information.
I have opened a case at Brackendowns SAPS (CAS 144/5/2020).
