E-toll gantries will not be removed
A story about e-toll gantries being given to metal collectors is not true but an April Fool’s joke.

JOHANNESBURG – Earlier reports suggested metal collectors could apply to SANRAL to remove the gantries around Gauteng. This story is not true.
The story was carried out to mark April 1 as April Fool’s day. Congratulations to the readers who caught on to the joke and shared it with others.
Apologies to anyone who did not find the story funny as it was intended to be.
The Department of Transport has not announced any intention to end e-tolling, as far as the public is concerned, e-tolling continues.
All character names were fictional and were not based on anyone specific.

even though its an April fools joke, please note that as per terms and conditions of publishing information needs to be true and not fictional, some might take the credibility of all future publishing stories not creditable
