Making the most of your life

The Woman@Work March event, which was held at Glenvista Country Club, had the ladies who attended riveted while they listened to guest speaker, Debbie De Jager, who spoke about Making the Most of your Life.

GLENVISTA – The ladies enjoyed a delicious dinner and Debbie’s inspirational talk, and they also received goodie bags and could browse the shopping area.

The charity of choice for the evening was Door of Hope, with Carmen Pretorius coming along to show the ladies a short film about what Door of Hope is all about.

“One thousand, three hundred and fifty seven babies have been through the Door of Hope since we began and over 500 adoptions have taken place. We presently home 57 babies between the three homes, two in Glenvista and one in Berea. We are delighted to be the charity of choice for this evening,” said Carmen,”and any donations will go towards our new project to purchase a larger property.”
