ALBERTON – On April 10 two sewer drains with missing lids were reported by Marlene Muller of Trelawny Street, New Redruth.
She called the EMM service centre number 011 861 2529 around two weeks ago and explained the situation. The two women she spoke to said they would put her through to the necessary departments. She held onto the line for a while but they could not direct her to the correct departments.
Marlene was worried that children of the community could fall in the hole or car tyres could get damaged.
On April 11 around 11:00 Marlene reported that the EMM had come out to put new lids on the sewer drains.
