Spur Assault: Four accused charged with culpable homicide

PALMRIDGE – Murder charges against the suspects in the Bradley du Preez case have been lessened to culpable homicide in the Palmridge Court today.

The two female suspects have been released and told that they can go. Bail has been set at R500 for the four male suspects.

One of the four suspects has a prior arrest. He was previously charged for the possession of drugs. His defence attorney urged the court not to discriminate against him because of his prior charges and release him on bail as with the other suspects.

The case will appear in court on August 8. Police are still busy investigating and officials are waiting on the result of the autopsy.
