Two men caught with bags of dagga

“They learned it the hard way. No drugs in the Alberton area and that is it,” Communication Officer Sgt. Nkuna stated.

ROODEKOP – SAPS Alberton’s sector vehicle spotted two men carrying suspicious bags in the Roodekop industrial area. The SAPS officials patrolling the area stopped the men and searched their bags, discovering the bags were filled with dagga.

The suspect have been arrested and charged at the Alberton Police station. They have since appeared in Palmridge magistrate court.

The arresting officers were Constable Nkwana, Constable Baloyi and Constable Mabunda.

Alberton SAPS would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Alberton is a drug-free area.
