Four arrested for hijacking

Stolen goods to the value of close to R1 million recovered.

FOUR men have been arrested at a storage facility this afternoon in connection with a truck which was hijacked in Alberton on September 25.
The truck was on route to Maputo, loaded with electrical goods but found empty in Randfontein. 
A tip-off took JMPD and Mondeor SAPS to a storage facilities in Eikenhof where the suspects were busy offloading the goods, valued at about R1 million, from another truck.
The suspects, one South African and three Ethiopians, were taken to Mondeor Police where they will be charged.

  1. When the police radioed in that they had arrested 4 suspects . The officer on the other end at the station should have said “next time you radio in confirm 4 dead”. That would soon stop the problem
