ALBERTON – Constable D.F. Koetepe and Sergeant C.M. Motikwe were called out to a hijacking on the Old Vereeninging Road close to Mamsago Caravan Park.
When the police arrived on the scene the hijackers fled out the passenger side of the truck.
Fortunately they did not get away. The suspects were caught thanks to the help of the Mamsago Caravan Park residents.
The suspects were arrested on charges of attempted hijacking and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
They will appear in Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
