Ekurhuleni launches water conservation programme

This message by the City of Ekurhuleni has the potential to save lives if adhered to in a water scarce country like South Africa.

The City has embarked on a week-long campaign to educate people on the importance of saving water, entailing door-to-door interactions with residents along with the identification of leaks and blockages.

So far the campaign has been flag-shipped in Tembisa, Etwatwa, Edenvale, Kwa-Thema and Kempton Park.

Hopefully the City will extend the campaign to other areas within the municipality and educate residents on the importance of water conservation.
