EDEN PARK – On Wednesday March 4 three heavily armed robbers were on a mission to rob shops in Extention 6 in Palmridge, but to their surprise, the police, acting on a tip-off, were waiting for them.
“After receiving a tip-off, we contacted the crime intelligence unit, who waited for the robbers to make their move. One robber was arrested while two escaped, leaving behind two shotguns and ammunition,” said Warrant Officer Mathabela.
