EDEN PARK – It is alleged by a family member in Adam Kok Street that the two girls, one from Benz Street, left on Saturday night in a boyfriend’s car to visit in Thokoza.
Due to an argument, the boyfriend dumped the girls in Thokoza, and they had to return to Eden Park on foot without protection.
Near Phola Park, the girls encountered a gang of thugs, who demanded money and cellphones. The girls were stabbed and then gang-raped. One of the suspects were identified as a man from Little Germiston who has been involved in many cases of robbery and even murder. He addressed one of the girls using her name.
A rape case has been opened and the investigation is under way.
