For the week of March 23 to 29 there were 46 arrests made by the Booysens SAPS, including armed robbery – one, assault common – eight, assault grievous bodily harm – four, attempted murder – one, common robbery – one, contempt of court – one, contravention of liquor act – two, drunken driving – two, fraud – one, housebreaking and theft – two, malicious damage to property – three, possession of counterfeit notes – one, possession of drugs – two, possession of suspected stolen goods – one, possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – two, rape – two, shoplifting – one, theft – seven, theft of motor vehicle – two, violation of protection order – one and warrant of arrest – one.
