Two Randhart Armed Response Vehicles were sent to the scene. The reaction officers discovered one man surrounded by members of the public. Members of the public informed the officers that the man had robbed a lady of her handbag and attempted to run away.
The suspect was handed over to Brackendowns SAPS and detained on the charge of common robbery.
