Man wanted for armed robbery

ALBERTON — Alberton Police Station recently released an identikit of a man wanted for an armed robbery in the Alberton area.

Sgt Phora Nkuna, a police spokesperson, said the man is capable of speaking English, is light in complexion, aged between 22 and 25 years old, tall and is of a medium body build.

“This suspect, together with an accomplice, walked into a store as customers, before taking cigarettes, money and a cellphone at gunpoint and then fleeing the scene.”
