GALLERY: Abandoned building in Alrode falling apart

ALBERTON – On July 19, the RECORD reported on a property in Vanderbijl Street in Alrode South where the building has been left abandoned for months.

Neighbouring businesses have reportedly seen inspectors from different departments visiting the building but, to date, no discernible progress has been made in securing the building from potential structural risks.

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality have not responded to multiple requests for comment by the RECORD.
