FUTURE LEADERS: As part of theme week, students from Rosemarie Nursery School visited Brackendowns Police Station. According to the spokesperson, Lindi Moloi, all the children said they wanted to be station commanders after their visit.
ALBERTON – Rosemarie Nursery School students recently took part in a themed week where they were exposed to different professions and were introduced to people who help them.
The students took a trip to the Brackendowns SAPS to learn about the SAPS and their duties.
STARTING EARLY: Rosemarie Nursery School collected animal food and blankets for SPCA Alberton.
HAVING FUN: The children of Rosemarie Nursery School celebrated a theme week, “People who help us”, with a visit to La Fonté Hair and Beauty Salon.
According to Brackendowns SAPS spokesperson, Lindi Moloi, all the children said they wanted to be station commanders after their visit.
Two classes visited the La Fonté Hair and Beauty Salon where they had their hair coloured and were treated to manicures.
During the week the children also collected goods to donate to the Alberton SPCA.
