Cobras karateka win 22 medals

Eleven students from the club took part in the championships and brought back 22 medals.

COBRAS Shotokan Karate Club in Brackenhurst took part in the All Styles Karate Stallion Championships held in Pretoria on August 22.

Eleven students from the club took part and brought back 22 medals including 15 gold, six silver and one bronze.

Karateka who won medals are: Liana Gouveia (two gold), Bokamoso Makhene (two silver), Tiana Figueiredo (one gold and one bronze), Waydon Joemath (one gold and one silver), Gadge Warne (two gold), Samukelisiwe Madonsela (two gold), Darshal Chinia (one gold), Dario Gouveia (two gold), Brandon Rossouw (two silver), Nikita Figueiredo (three gold) and Reatlegile Moleleki-Modiane (one silver)

The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club trains every Monday and Wednesday evening at Glenview Primary School in Brackenhurst.
