Festive breakfast for WOW group

Women of Worth members shared an end of year breakfast at The Tin Cup.

WOMEN of Worth members shared an end of year breakfast at The Tin Cup, situated in Rietvlei Zoo Farm on Tuesday, December 1.

Celebrating, the members exchanged gifts and Christmas cards. They also enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

Hilda Theck, chariman of WOW, introduced two visitors to the members, Tammy Du Plooy and Dalena Crowhurst from Alberton Victim Support Unit. The group gave a small donation to Tammy as well as articles towards their care packs.

“Thank you ladies, we are always in need of women’s products for our care packs and you can be sure all you have given will be put to good use,” said Tammy.

Hilda wished all the members a very merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. “Thanks to each and every one of you for all your input this year. Enjoy being with your families and friends over the festive season and I hope to see you all next year at our first meeting on Tuesday, January 12, when we’ll be meeting at Mugg and Bean Panorama Shopping Centre.”
