Thieves leave motorist heartbroken

The old trend of breaking into vehicles seems to be making a comeback in Edenpark.

ALBERTON – Thieves have started to break into vehicles more often and on Monday, November 30, Doc was another victim when his vehicle was targeted on the corner of Abraham and Chrysler streets. The radio was stolen from his vehicle.

“On Monday night, before I went to bed, I checked my car to see that everything was locked and even the main gate. Everything was secure but when I got up on Tuesday, I found my car window broken and the radio gone,” Doc said.

“The theft was very strange. It was either that the thieves were in a hurry or something disturbed them because only the radio was gone. The money in the car and the speakers were not taken. The radio is an old one but it had sentimental value to me and I would not have swopped it for anything.”
