The golf day held at Glenvista Country Club, on Friday, December 4, for baby Paige Bedworth, who is suffering from Oesphageal Atresia, was a huge success.
The Comaro CHRONICLE and Alberton RECORD featured the story about Paige’s ordeal in November. Her parents, Candice and Jonathan, spoke about the ‘nightmare’ journey since she was born on February 5, but also about the miracles which have taken place.
“Thank you so much to every single person who attended the #playforpaige golf day. It was a phenomenal success and everyone was amazingly generous. It was proof that there are truly good people out there and we are so grateful to know you all and to have met some new faces on the day. You are all fantastic, thank you.
“A special thank you to the organisers, Darren Bedworth, Glynis Ryan and Jono Lotter, who made the day what it was. Thank you also to every single person who helped make the day a success, Demi Bedworth, Shirley Bedworth, Mark Bedworth, Melanie Bedworth and Ettienne Steynand. Hugs to everyone who helped pack gifts, helped on the course, sold raffle tickets and every little thing – thank you all. We are so humbled by you. Love you all,” said Candice and Jonathan Bedworth.
*We’ll follow Paige’s journey in 2016 and keep you updated.
