DAPHNEY and Jimmy Jacobs, from Riemvasmaak, parked their vehicle inside their property and locked the gate on February 4.
After a peaceful night’s sleep, and ready to go to work, they discovered that their golden coloured Toyota Tazz with registration number RRG 491 GP had been stolen.
“We found the gate wide open, although it had been locked with a chain; the thieves simply cut the chain into pieces,” said Jimmy.
A case of motor vehicle theft has been opened with the Eden Park SAPS. Witnesses are urged to contact the police station on 011 439 1800 or 011 439 1808.
